★ SUGGESTED GLOWFORGE CUT SETTINGS: PG Medium clear.
Our Rainbow Prism Holographic Sheet is manufactured by applying a thin laser safe film on top of cast acrylic. As such, there is the possibility of small bubbles and defects within your product. These should never account for more than 5% of usable space. In addition- please be careful when peeling the protective cover from the side with the film, and when choosing your masking and removing it.
Our Acrylic sheets are perfect for use in your laser cutting and engraving machines, CNC Routing machines, GlowForge, Aeon, Mira, Flux Beamo, and more! These Acrylic Sheet sheets open up a ton of possibilities for every crafter and laser cutter. Create wall decor, jewelry, business signs, trinket boxes, jewelry displays, keychains, cake toppers and more!
If you're looking to add a double sided adhesive backing, you can find it here. Keep in mind you'll need to leave a note on which products you want it added to, and purchase a quantity equal to the number of sheets you need.
★Helpful Tips & Tricks ★
-Always run a test cut! One thing we find often is that despite similar setups and machines, cut settings can vary drastically. While we have done plenty of testing and work with best practices, all of our suggestions are starting points.
-Our Shimmer Acrylic sometimes needs multiple test cuts to find the sweet spot and avoid discoloration on the sides. We recommended starting with the suggested setting and increasing or decreasing your speed and power based on your results.
-Our Acrylic comes masked with paper or plastic, and varies by manufacturer. We recommend removing the masking on those with plastic masking and replacing with your own favorite masking.
-Due to the cutting process, it's not uncommon to get a stubborn "fog" on your acrylic after using your laser despite any type of masking. For CAST acrylic, you can clean this with a modest amount of rubbing alcohol for a crystal clean finish. However, acrylic can be weakened by any harsh or dehydrating chemicals and EXTRUDED will absolutely be compromised with these. We recommend using Novus on your acrylic, especially mirrors and other extruded acrylics. The Fine Scratch Polish also works great on all acrylics for buffing out any minor imperfections that may have happened through the crafting process.
Please note that due to the cutting process, sheet actual measurements may vary up to 1/4" depending on the type of acrylic and blades used to cut down the sheets.
