Raising Your Acrylic Off The Bed

When you're working on larger lasers like Thunder or Aeon, you'll often hear people talk about raising the acrylic off the bed of the laser when cutting.

One of the main reasons this is done is to eliminate flashback. Flashback is basically the laser hitting the honeycomb laser bed, and causing burn marks on your acrylic.
Raising it off the bed with a few pieces placed selectively means you eliminate flashback.
