CMB was founded as a woman-owned and (now) family-operated business. What started as a side hustle for a stay-at-home mom has turned into a family-run business that we're so excited to do every single day!  

Our journey started in 2019 when Melody, a proud graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, was gifted a Glowforge for her birthday. Melody's creative sparks took flight, but she faced a unique challenge—finding the perfect acrylic materials for her imaginative projects.

Fueled by Melody's business acumen and her dedication to quality, our small venture quickly evolved into something much larger. Nick joined the business full time in 2021, and went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration from NC State, perfectly complementing Melody's creativity, creating a dynamic duo ready to serve your crafting needs.

We understand the importance of family and the joy that creative projects can bring. As the parents of two amazing little boys, we're proud to say that our family values are at the heart of our business. We want to inspire fellow crafting enthusiasts, both young and old, to create memorable moments with their loved ones through the magic of acrylic.
