CMB Acrylic carries more than 1,000 acrylic sheets made for laser cutting and engraving: glitter, mirror, matte/gloss, pearl, marble, iridescent, two-tone and printed pattern sheets. Most designs come in 1/8" (3mm), with select colors in 1/16", 3/16" and 1/4". Sheets cut cleanly on CO2 lasers like Glowforge, and our Diode Laser collection lists sheets tested on diode machines. Makers use them for earrings, keychains, badge reels, ornaments, cake toppers and signs. Specialty sheets are made in small runs, so no two are exactly alike.
What acrylic is best for laser cutting?
Cast acrylic. It cuts with a clean, polished edge and engraves frosty white, while extruded acrylic can melt more easily.
What thickness should I buy?
1/8" (3mm) is the most popular all-around thickness. Go thinner (1/16") for lightweight earrings and thicker (1/4") for sturdy signs and stands.
