The posts are 316l surgical stainless steel and feature a wider flat pad base (see the 2nd listing photo for an example of the new post/dome style), which makes these very sturdy and durable. Each pair comes carefully packaged on an earring card in its own cello bag. Bullet clutch backs are included on the earrings, along with an extra free set of backs with each pair.
